For our next event, TEN are returning to the University of Dundee for an evening focussed on Innovation. TEN has maintained a relationship with the University of Dundee for three years now, and we are excited to be heading back to the Fulton Building to catch a glimpse of what innovative work has been going on since our last visit.
As well as the usual talks, there will also be a tour of the facilities and of the 4th year students Honours Projects, which are at their climax. This section of the event will be delivered by Robert Keatch, who is the head of Engineering disciplines within the broader School of Science and Engineering.
PROGRAM OF EVENTS
5.30 – 6.00 – Meet & greet/Register/Networking – Tea/Coffee/Biscuits will be supplied.
6.00 – 7.00 – Tour of the Facilities & Honours Project posters
7.00 – 8.00 – a) Short piece on University Research and Innovation support
b) Presentation on MSc courses in Industrial Engineering from Jan Vorstius
c) Presentations on Graduate Level Apprenticeships from David Mackie
d) Q&A, Thanks, and Depart
PARKING
Some parking is available on Campus but may be subject to charges. The nearest public carpark is at the Hunter Street car park just over the road from the Fulton Building. There is also the Greens Street carpark which is behind the Dundee Science Centre, and is a 5 minute walk from the Fulton Building.
The public carparks are usually free after 6pm.

The TEN is a new and exciting networking opportunity, which will aim to encompass all elements of the local Engineering Community, including: local and international business, education and the supporting functions. We hope to host Presentation Evenings, Site Visits, Open Door Weekends and Social Events. However, the success of this aim will be very much dependent on TEN members. As such, we hope that where possible, interested parties make every effort to support the initial launch event.
