We wish to invite you to our next event of 2017.

This time we’ve managed to join forces with Dundee City Council to bring you an event based around what is surely the biggest potential engineering development coming up in Dundee; Decomissioning of Oil and Gas Rigs.

Charles Hammond, Chief Executive of Forth Ports, said: “The Forth Ports Board is fully committed to investing in the Port of Dundee to ensure that the infrastructure is in place to capitalise on the significant opportunities presented by the North Sea Oil & Gas and Decommissioning sectors over the coming years. The port’s access to the talented skills base in Dundee along with its key location, unrivalled land space and quayside strength makes it the logical choice for large scale decommissioning in Scotland. In addition our partnerships with the DundeeCom consortium and Augean, also strengthens Dundee’s position as decom hub.”

For this event, we return to the Dundee City Chambers, to hear speakers from Decom North Sea, Dundeecom and Augean talk us through everything from the general overview right up to how this venture could be achieved from a technical standpoint.

The format of the night will be as follows:

5:30 – 6:15 – Meet & Greet / Networking

6:15 – 7:30 – 3x Presentations

7:30 – 8:15 – Q&A, Networking and Depart

Our speakers for the event are;

1) Pamela Ogilvie from Decom North Sea

2) Callum Falconer from Dundeecom

3) A speaker from Augean – TBC
