An Engineering and Manufacturing (EAM) Directory for Angus is currently in development.
The Engineering and Manufacturing (EAM) sector is a key driver of the Angus economy and plays a key role in supporting economic recovery within Angus. The State of the Angus Economy (2019) report shows that the manufacturing sector supported 4,500 jobs in 2018 which accounted 11.5% of total employment in Angus. Also, its total turnover reached £790m in 2017.
The digital directory will provide details on Angus EAM companies and their capabilities, segmented into sub sectors and featured on searchable databases on the Invest in Angus website. This will help enhance your online presence, improve your business visibility, strengthen your business reputation, and boost your search engine optimization.
This directory will be promoted widely through Invest in Angus channels to prospective customers within and beyond the region.
In order to be listed in this directory, we would encourage you to complete the EAM Survey which will help us identify, learn about capability and capacity, and contact with our EAM businesses as well as identify the sector’s priorities and the support required in light of COVID-19 pandemic.
The results will also be used to develop a three-year framework and action plan that will guide the Invest in Angus team aligned with the Tay Cities Deal, Mercury Programme and the Tay Cities Engineering Partnership (TCEP).
